Google Sheets add-on

Pull queries straight into a spreadsheet and refresh them on a schedule — no Apps Script to maintain.

Install & connect

  1. 1Install the SpendMix add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace (public listing is rolling out), then open it in any sheet via Extensions → SpendMix.
  2. 2Click Connect SpendMix in the sidebar. A browser tab opens spendmix.com showing a short pairing code.
  3. 3Check the code matches the one in the sidebar and approve. The add-on links to your account automatically — no key to copy.
Prefer keys? An Advanced disclosure in the sidebar still accepts a pasted API key.

Pull data

  1. 1Pick a source, level, fields, breakdowns and a date range in the sidebar — the same query model as Explore.
  2. 2Click Run. Rows land in the active sheet with a header row, ready for formulas and pivots.
  3. 3Set a refresh schedule to keep the range up to date automatically.

Tips

  • Use one tab per query — refreshes replace the tab's data range, so manual notes are safest on a separate tab.
  • For pushes that should run even with the spreadsheet closed, use a scheduled destination push to Google Sheets instead (see Destinations guide) — it runs server-side.
